Curtis Martin was raised Catholic. In high school, he left the Church, eventually becoming a zealous Bible Christian. Through his study of the Bible as an evangelical protestant, he discovered that the real Bible church is the Church of the Bible: Roman Catholicism. He holds a masterís degree in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the Founder and President of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS). Now in their ninth year, FOCUS serves on twenty-nine campuses, in thirteen different states. FOCUS exists to reclaim the hearts and minds of college students for Jesus Christ and His Church by training and placing missionaries on college campuses.

Curtis has written articles for Couple to Couple League, Catholic Dossier, The Journal for the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars and was awarded the inaugural Excellence in Evangelization award by Envoy magazine. He and his wife Michaelann host the EWTN television series Family Matters. They live in Greeley, CO with their seven children.
